Lakshmi, an elephant in Tamil Nadu's Tuticorin district, is famous for playing the mouth organ. According to a report in Times of India, Lakshmi belongs to the Irattai Tirupathi Temple. Lakshmi's caretaker has been giving her music lessons since her early days.

She is popular in the area, with many people coming to watch her performance at the Thekkampatti camp, where she resides now.
