WATCH VIDEO: ELEPHANT ATTACKS MAN ON ROAD IN TAMIL NADU

Deforestation and human interuption in forests have been destroying homes for animals and they are often seen wandering in residential areas near wild areas mostly in search of food or migrating.

Wild animals straying off has endangered many human and animal lives. In dramatic CCTV visuals from Nilgiris's Kolakombai  of Tamil Nadu, an elephant was seen chasing and attacking a man in a residential colony, reports Times Now.

Sources mentioned that the man escaped with minor injuries on his body. The video of the incident has been uploaded online.

In the footage, the man can be seen walking on the street and meanwhile, a wild elephant chased him. The man tried to refuge himself on the corner of a wall but the panicked elephant attacked him with his trunk. Then the elephant left the area.
