SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPT ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN UNIFORMS

New uniform colours have been reportedly announced for the high and higher secondary students of government schools for the coming academic year. Reports say, this move by the School Education Department is aimed at helping differentiate primary and middle school students from others.
For Class 9 and 10 students, grey pants and pink shirt have been prescribed for boys, and grey salwar with pink kurta with an over-jacket for girls. Meanwhile, higher secondary boys have been prescribed dark blue pants with blue checked shirts and girls to wear dark blue salwar with blue checked kurta with an over-jacket.
