Everything was going on well when suddenly Covid-19 hit the whole world and turned everything upside down including education which took a back step during the lockdowns. Schools, colleges, coaching institutions and many more had to come up with new learning method - Online Education.
While children from urban areas had access and knowledge of Online Education model, the children from the rural areas were taken aback as it became very difficult for them to understand and comprehend. Especially those students who came from rural and tribal villages across Tamil Nadu.
And this is where by Dr Karthik Narayanan’s Lit Skills Learning India LLC became a savior for those children. Dr Karthik Narayanan’s Innovative Method of Coaching for students became a huge hit during exam preparations for students. He has more than 12 years of experience as a Coach, Teacher-Training Expert who got his hands-on students suffering from understanding and prepare them for exams. He introduced a simple learning method where it was different from Traditional Rote Learning method and it worked out well. Students were able to understand and were able to follow up his model and got ready to face their board exams.
With the vision of crafting quality content for every child in our country, Dr. Karthik Naryanan’s created a flagship Project English under Lit Skills Learning. Every child in rural India should be able to read, write, and speak English.
Dr. Narayanan and his team created high-quality, dynamic digital content for schools and educational institutions to motivate and engage students in learning English. He and his team teach in the rural area at Rs.1 per day per child.
Inspired by his Guru (late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam), Karthik Narayanan’s team set up Free Online Coaching for students studying in Government Schools across Tamil Nadu and over a period of 4 months starting from Jan 2022 till April 2022 trained those students, and got them prepared to face board exams.

The methods used - "Beyond Classroom, Beyond Textbooks" where traditional method was to mug up and byheart everything, Lit Skills emphasized on simple method of understanding making students think and comprehend. Scientifically proven method to learn is to think, do and implement. The interactive model was conducted for 2 to 4 hours a day. Teams were formed and those teams are B.Ed. students who volunteered this project.
And the best part - out of 2054 students enrolled for coaching - 928 students from 10th Std - Passed on First Class; 7 students scored Distinction while 1154 students of Class 12 - Passed and cleared - 13 students topped in their respective schools and have come out with flying colors.
