Further giving updates on the state report, Health Minister Vijayabaskar said that among with 203 people, 117 are men and 86 women. While the casualties in the state, have increased to 28 after the Health Department reported a recent death of a 98-year-old COVID-19 patient.
While addressing the media, Health Minister Vijayabaskar said a total of 9,615 samples were tested on Friday while Chennai tops the chart in the state. We are also providing necessary assistance and help to pregnant women in the state. Amid all the coax, the government has made special arrangements for senior citizens.
Meanwhile, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) Commissioner G. Prakash warned citizens of 14-day quarantine for violators of physical distancing norms. He also advised business establishments of closure if they do not follow the social distancing norms.
