Don’t trouble people for revenue: HC to TN govt

The Madras High court on Monday heard an appeal by the Chennai Corporation against the Madras High Court’s order banning posters, banners and cut-outs with pictures of people who are alive. Advocate General Vijay Narayan, in the court, argued that the HC’s ban affects the revenue of the State government. However, the court reportedly said the government should not consider just revenue, but should also consider the trouble caused to people by the hoardings.
