Students and parents of Don Bosco Matriculation school in Perambur are protesting outside the school near Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, on Thursday. Reports say, a PT master from the school allegedly punished a class 10 student Narendran, for coming late to class which eventually led to his death. The teacher reportedly insisted the student to do 'duck walk' around the school ground for coming late, after which the student collapsed and was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he later died in the hospital as treatment failed. The teacher has been suspended and was arrested by police.
