Backing the strike call given by the government employees, DMK working president M K Stalin on Sunday reportedly slammed the ruling AIADMK government for not honouring their demands. Stalin reportedly said, “The DMK will join hands with government employees and bring down the government in a democratic way.” Stalin also reportedly lashed out at Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan for warning employees they won’t get their salary, and that temporary staff would be suspended, if they hold the strike.
