Opposition DMK has reportedly decided to field Marudhu Ganesh as their candidate for the upcoming RK Nagar bypoll. The decision was taken at a meeting led by the party's working president MK Stalin on Saturday. VCK Chief Thol Thirumavalavan reportedly said the party has decided to support the DMK candidate. Notably, the bypoll is scheduled to be held on December 21.
