CAPTAIN VIJAYAKANTH PAYS HOMAGE TO LATE DMK CHIEF KARUNANIDHI

In the early hours of Monday, DMDK Chief Captain Vijayakanth paid homage to the late DMK Patriarch Dr M Karunanidhi at Marina Beach.

Kalaignar Karunanidhi passed away on August 7 at Kauvery Hospital. Many prominent figures paid homage to the political veteran of Tamil Nadu. Vijayakanth conveyed his grief over a video and couldn't come to visit Karunanidhi in person as he was in the US.

In the video that circulated on social media, Vijayakanth could be seen choking on his words of grief as he could not help the tears that streamed down his face. 

Vijayakanth reached Tamil Nadu from the US today morning and immediately went to the Marina Beach to visit Kalaignar's memorial. The DMDK was seen in tears as he paid respect to the memorial.
