A four-year-old girl was brutally killed by her neighbour, a 35-year-old woman on Tuesday in Villivakkam. Allegedly, she killed the toddler to settle scores with the girl’s parents. The toddler’s father was away at work in Marina beach and her mother went out to buy groceries leaving the child at home. The neighbour, S Devi took advantage of the situation and plunged her in bucket water till she choked to death. She has reportedly been arrested by the police. The toddler’s body was reportedly found near the railway station in Villivakkam on Wednesday. Upon investigation, the woman confessed to killing the toddler.
