A day after the EC allotted the symbol of ‘Two leaves’ to EPS-OPS faction, celebrations were held in Madurai where Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami hoisted the AIADMK party flag. However, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam skipped the event. According to media reports, OPS supporters expressed their displeasure by claiming that an invite wasn’t sent out to OPS and the Deputy Chief Minister's images were ignored on welcome banners placed in the function.
