Reports suggest that district collectors across Tamil Nadu on Thursday conducted inspections at various places including residential areas and commercial buildings to take control measures in the wake of Dengue outbreak. Reportedly, owners of buildings which favoured the breeding of Aedes Aegypti that spreads Dengue were fined. Pamphlets to create awareness about Dengue were distributed. 90,000 workers belonging to various departments are involved in the field work to create awareness and control Dengue, say reports.
