According to media reports, 7 people who were affected by dengue and a viral fever triggered by dengue have passed away from various parts of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The ruling party has been blamed for the outbreak while the party’s senior persons have been saying that they have taken all possible measures to counter the disease. 5 more people passed away in the later part of the day taking the total death toll to 12.
