Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with three of his ministers, is continuing his dharna protest at Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s office since last evening. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, ministers Gopal Rai and Satyendar Jain have joined Kejriwal in the protest.
The four went to meet the L-G last evening with two major demands - to direct IAS officers to end their strike and to take action against those who have stalled work for four months. They also demanded the L-G’s approval for the proposal for doorstep delivery of rations.
The AAP government alleges that officers have not been attending meetings and are not picking up calls from ministers thus stalling the government’s works. However, the L-G’s office slammed Kejriwal and the other ministers saying that they’re holding a dharna without reason.
