Theni forest fire: Death toll climbs to 16

Theni forest fire claimed two more people - Sakthikala and Devi on Friday, taking the death toll to 16. While Devi died at Madurai government hospital, Sakthikala succumbed to burn injuries at a private hospital. A group of trekkers to Kurangani were caught in a sudden fire that engulfed the hills in Theni on Sunday.
