Kasthuri Mahalingam, who lost his father Krishnaswamy, who had accompanied him to a NEET centre in Kerala’s Ernakulam district, was quoted by Puthiya Thalaimurai as saying that his father would have been alive had the test been conducted in the state itself. He further asked, “I can’t go to the government and ask for my father back, can I?”
