The principal of DG Vaishnav college in Chennai reportedly resigned from his post after the University of Madras cancelled his appointment due to plagiarism charges. Reports say, a complaint was filed stating that a portion of his thesis submitted in 2001 was plagiarised, following which a committee was set up to probe the matter and his appointment was revoked as charges were proven.
