COVID-19 IN TAMIL NADU TODAY: CHECK POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON SEPT 6

Tamil Nadu on Sunday, September 6, reported 5,783 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 51,458.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of September 6:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   51,458.

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  2,79,704 / 1,83,747 / 29. 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –161 (64 Govt + 97 Private)

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –     52,98,508.

- Total number of samples tested today –  85,974.   

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 51,26,231.

- Total number of persons tested today –  84,034.

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4,04,186.

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,820.

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 88 (30 Private & 58 Govt) / total 7,836
