CHENNAI CORPORATION APPEALS TO VISITORS OF VISA APPLICATION CENTRE IN NUNGAMBAKKAM ON 15 MARCH TO REPORT!

After a person from Chennai who had visited the Visa Application Centre in Nungambakkam on 15 March tested positive for COVID-19, the Greater Chennai Corporation has requested people who were in the same location on the same day to report themselves.

Tamil Nadu witnessed a huge spike in the number of COVID-19 cases when 57 people tested positive for the virus on the same day yesterday. Of the 57 people, 50 had attended the Nizamuddin Tablighi Markaz in Delhi between 8 March and 20 March. The total number of positive cases in the state now stands at 124.
