2 DEATHS, 104 NEW POSITIVE CASES FROM 5 DISTRICTS IN TAMIL NADU TODAY; ADDITIONAL COVID-19 DETAILS LISTED

The state’s death toll rose to 27 after it reported two deaths on the date.

Total number of passengers under home quarantine – 30,580
Total number of passengers in government quarantine facilities – 48
Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 44 (33 government and 11 private)
Total number of samples tested till date – 1,09,961
Total number of samples tested today – 8087
Total number of persons tested till date – 1,01,075
Total number of persons tested today – 7886
Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 1821
Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1210
Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 82
Total number of active cases on date - 922
