Cost of petrol in Chennai reaches second highest rate ever r

Petrol prices in Chennai reportedly hit a four-year high on Sunday. One liter of petrol cost Rs 76.48, which was the second highest ever recorded in Chennai. Since the petrol price in Chennai in Sunday is the highest since July 2014.

 

According to TNIE, Sunday’s petrol price is the second highest ever recorded in Chennai; the highest being Rs 76.93 in 2014. Petrol and diesel firms hiked prices by 19 paise per liter on Sunday through a notification.
