COPS BOOK TAMIZHAGA VAZHVURIMAI KATCHI LEADER T VELMURUGAN FOR TREASON

Police on Wednesday booked Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi leader T Velmurugan for treason. Velmurugan and his cadres are guilty of vandalising a toll plaza in Villupuram in April demanding the formation of Cauvery Management Board.
 

Incidentally, Velmurugan is already serving jail time and was on Tuesday visited by DMK working president and opposition leader MK Stalin at Stanley Hospital, where he was admitted following kidney-related issues.
