According to media reports, the Tamil Nadu Prison Department has planned to train the inmates of prisons across Tamil Nadu with driving skills. The convicts including those who were arrested on murder charges will also be reportedly benefitted with this plan. With Seesha NGO and Tech Mahindra, the inmates will reportedly get driving lessons on light motor vehicles as well as forklifts. After they get released, the convicts will reportedly get placed in private taxi agencies and cab aggregators.
