The Madras High Court on Monday reportedly directed the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board to pay a compensation of Rs 6 lakh to the family who lost their 12-year-old daughter who was electrocuted after falling into stagnanted water on August 22, 2006. Reportedly, the High Court has ordered TNEB to pay the compensation at 6% interest per annum to the girl's family because of the delay.
