Ramanathapuram District Collector, Natarajan has reportedly ordered fishermen and devotees to not go into the sea. Reportedly, the waves in the coastal area are expected to rise from 8.25 feet to 11.50 feet.
Natarajan requested fishermen to not venture into the sea on Saturday for fishing and asked them to have their boats safely docked. In case of emergencies, Ramanathapuram citizens can call 1077.
