COIMBATORE POLICE ARRESTS MAN WITH RS 1.4 CRORE COUNTERFEIT MONEY

According to reports, the Coimbatore police arrested a 31-year-old man on Friday night and seized Rs 1.4 crore counterfeit notes from him. Reportedly, a colour Xerox machine and a computer were also seized from him.
Ananth was responsible for many two-wheeler vehicle thefts in Coimbatore. When the police tried questioning him on Friday night, they noticed a bunch of Rs 2000 notes in his pocket. Investigating further, they found that the notes were counterfeit.
Ananth was reportedly the collection agent for a financier. They took photocopies of original currency notes and circulated them to the public.
