Coimbatore: Petrol bomb hurled at BJP functionary’s house

Miscreants hurled petrol bomb at the residence of CR Nandakumar, BJP’s Coimbatore district president, in the early hours on Wednesday. Police reportedly said the unidentified persons poured fuel on his car parked on the porch at his residence and threw the bomb. The house is located at Ramalakshmi Nagar on Masakalipalayam Road. City police commissioner K. Periaiah said they’re analysing CCTV video footage in which two men are seen hurling two projectiles, say reports.
