Coimbatore: Man arrested for insulting national flag

The Coimbatore police on Friday reportedly arrested a 25-year-old man from Kaliyappagoundanur near Anaimalai was arrested for dishonoring and insulting the national flag. The man M Verti is a former member of Tamil Nadu Dravidar Kazhagam, which was launched a few months ago. He reportedly went to an elementary school on April 3 and kept his foot on the National Flag. He also allegedly uploaded the picture on social media.
