Relatives of the deceased were left helpless on Friday in Coimbatore government hospital after the hearse vans in the hospital had no diesel. Relatives allegedly said the drivers refused to take the vans even when they were ready to buy diesel. Some others alleged that the drivers refused despite the relatives’ offer to rent private hearse van. Allegedly, no action was taken even after they complained to higher officials. More worse, some placed the corpses one on another to the dismay of relatives.
