The Indian Meteorological Department has reportedly said that the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu may receive heavy rains in the next four days. It also reportedly added that Chennai may witness heavy rains with thunderstorms on Thursday. Independent weatherman Pradeep John said Chennai may witness “trailer” rains on Thursday and Friday. He also added that the delta regions may receive considerable rains from Saturday, while “Chennai will see main action from late Sunday”.
