CM PALANISWAMI REACHES KAUVERY HOSPITAL

It was a tense night on Sunday after rumours that DMK Chief Karunanidhi's health was critical. Following a stir in TN, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, who was in Coimbatore, cancelled his appointments and immediately left for Chennai.

The CM reached Chennai at around 1 am on Monday. However, he did not immediately visit Kauvery Hospital after reaching Chennai as rumours suggested. According to recent reports, CM Palaniswami along with Deputy CM O Panneerselvam reached Kauvery Hospital on Monday at around 10 am. It is expected that they will address the press after paying the DMK patriarch a visit.

On July 26, O Panneerselvam had visited Karunanidhi at his residence in Gopalapuram. Following that, the DMK Chief was admitted to the hospital. Kauvery Hospital on Sunday night announced that there is a transient setback in Karunanidhi's treatment and is getting better.
