In Kanchipuram district, a class 9 student reportedly stabbed a teacher who was taking class. The student was reportedly suspended from attending classes before three months. He reportedly went back to school and brutally stabbed a tamil teacher with knife. The teacher has been reportedly admitted to Chengalpet government hospital and the student who tried to flee the spot was caught by school staff and students and was handed over to police.
