According to a TOI report, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is considering a 1500 acre land at Maduranthakam in Kancheepuram district for Chennai’s second airport. Notably, Sriperumbudur was the location earlier considered by AAI. However, the Sriperumbudur location did not clear the complete process.
