Chennai’s 2nd phase metro is likely to reach these areas

Chennai Metro Rail has reportedly initiated talks with revenue officials in Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur districts to acquire lands for building the metro. Reports say, the 108.4km phase-2 metro project is still awaiting Centre’s approval and will connect 104 stations across the city including suburban areas such as Madhavaram and the IT corridor along Old Mahabalipuram Road.
