According to reports, an 18-year-old wrongly consumed phenyl mistaking it to be water on Sunday. Yuvraj from Thousand Lights in Chennai consumed the phenyl which was kept for cleaning his unelectrified house. He was reportedly rushed to Royapettah government hospital where he is receiving treatment. The Thousand Lights police are reportedly probing the matter.
