Since only a portion of the Chennai airport will have X-ray machine for scanning baggage (a single line), passengers might now have to report an hour earlier than usual, for international flights, says a report in The Hindu. Notably, earlier the airport had banned entry of visitors till March 31, citing upgradation works.
