A 54-year-old Chennai woman who went missing a month ago in Madurai was found dead in the outskirts of Madurai city. Reportedly, the police received a complaint from her son, based on which they started the investigation. The woman was allegedly murdered by her son-in-law and his friends when she was staying with her daughter in Madurai. According to media reports, the woman was killed over a property dispute. The police arrested the accused and his friends and surrendered him before a court in Chennai where he mentioned that the murder was planned because the woman was not giving him his share of the property.
