A 46-year-old woman, who underwent a weight a weight loss surgery along with her 2 daughters and a son reportedly passed away in a private hospital. The woman who weighed almost 150 kg stayed in the hospital even a month after the surgery due to more complications. However, the doctors who performed the surgery claimed that the woman and her family did not inform them about a treatment that she underwent for lungs in Vellore CMC. The surgeons reportedly said that she was admitted in the ICU ward of CMC and was under ventilator to support her lungs which were not informed to them.
