CHENNAI: TWO YOUTHS NABBED FOR STEALING MONEY IN LAKHS FROM ATMS

Two youngsters from Bihar have been nabbed by the Chennai police for allegedly stealing lakhs of rupees from ATMs in the city. The youths - Munna Kumar and Manohar Kumar - travel to Chennai to steal money and return to Bihar on flight, police reportedly said.

The matter came to light after police nabbed the duo, acting in a suspicious manner, near Ezhilagam on Saturday. The duo waited near such ATMs which usually take time to disburse cash. After the customer leaves ATM thinking the cash was not disbursed, the duo enters the ATM and leave with the money.

During the investigation, it was revealed that they had stolen money in lakhs of rupees from such ATMs.
