Ahead of the organisation’s crucial meeting scheduled for May 17 in Delhi, the All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) has reportedly issued an ultimatum on issues of hike in third party insurance premium (TPP) and spiraling diesel prices. The AIMTC has reportedly sent a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his intervention for immediate positive action to help the sector.
According to reports, P V Subramani, South zone vice president for AIMTC said, “We all are looking forward to the views of the members of managing committee at the meeting. A final decision on calling for an indefinite strike will be taken then.”
