According to Vikatan reports, a man named Sivaraj from Chetpet in Chennai filed a complaint in the City Commissioner’s office against the Palavanthangal police for allegedly threatening to jail him under Goondas Act. Sivaraj allegedly has cases of theft against him and was released on Tuesday after being jailed under the Goondas Act. In the complaint, he had said that he has a wife and two female children, pleading that the police should not file fake cases against him so that his family is not affected. He also reportedly added that he wanted to have a reformed life.
