A 25-year-old software engineer was reportedly arrested in Chennai on Saturday for allegedly threatening acid attack on a woman. Reports say, he was in a relationship with the woman for over three years but since the girl’s parents opposed the relationship, she began to avoid him. This reportedly provoked him to threaten her. However, the parents registered a police complaint immediately and the man was arrested.
