A 19-year-old student at a private college in Chennai was reportedly hit by a signal post on the railway track while he was travelling on footboard near Ponneri on Monday morning. Reports say, the teen took the train from Ponneri to Chennai Central to visit a relative when he was hit by the post and thrown to death. The train was reportedly crowded and the railway police are investigating the matter.
