The North-East monsoon rains, after taking a break, has reportedly resumed pouring at various localities in Chennai on Friday evening. Rains are now reportedly pouring in areas including T Nagar, Nungambakkam, Teynampet, Chennai Central, Egmore, Marina and Purasawalkam. Meanwhile, some other parts including Mylapore, Broadway and Triplicane of the city are receiving significant downpour.
