Residents of Mudichur, Lakshmi Nagar and Varadharajapuram localities in Chennai are reportedly vacating and leaving as the flood water entered their houses after the city witnessed heavy rains from Monday. The flood water also entered the houses in the Chitlapakkam area where residents expressed their difficulties in getting the essential items, as per reports.
