Chennai Rains: National Disaster Response Force issues warning

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has issued a warning and has asked the people of Chennai living in lower region area to move to higher ground as continuous rain has been forecast overnight. Waterlogging has been reported in several areas and several commuters were stranded on the roads as rains led to traffic. Reportedly, Chennai has received 13.6 cm of rainfall since Thursday evening.
