CHENNAI: POPULAR RESTAURANT CATCHES FIRE

A popular restaurant in Chennai’s TTK Road caught fire on Friday morning and the fire officials are involved in dousing the fire. The fire accident reportedly took place in the kitchen area of Ox and Tomato, the restaurant.

Tamil Nadu fire and rescue services department rushed a fire brigade vehicle from Teynampet to bring the fire under control. However, more vehicles from Egmore and Mylapore fire stations have also been rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control.

The restaurant was reportedly covered with smoke inside leading to disruption in efforts to douse the fire. Efforts are on to bring the fire under control.
