OPS’ FORMER SECURITY OFFICER DIES ON DUTY

A 54-year-old man Subbiah, who was serving as inspector of police in the Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Tiruvallur died of cardiac arrest while he was on duty.
The man also served as security for the Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam when the latter was serving as the Chief Minister (2002-2006).
Subbiah vomited and collapsed while on duty at 3:00 am on Tuesday. His colleagues rushed him to the Chengalpet government hospital but he was declared brought dead.
