A Chennai-based businessman who killed four members of his family including his mother, wife and two children and attempted suicide has left a shocking note. According to the note, Dhamotharan initially thought of killing only himself as his clothing business slumped leading to debts. However, he killed the family members as he thought they would suffer even more without him, the note reportedly said. In the note, the man had mentioned that his business was hit heavily due to the demonetisation move. Notably, his mother, wife and two children were found dead with their throat slit at their house in Krishna Nagar of Pammal near Pallavaram on Tuesday.
